About Me
Last Updated: May 2026
My Story
I didn't grow up as a health food person. For years I relied on takeout and frozen meals, always telling myself I'd learn to cook properly someday. That someday finally came when I realized how much better I felt after eating whole, simple food.
I started cooking more at home, experimenting with ingredients, and slowly building a collection of recipes that were both good for me and genuinely enjoyable to eat. That collection eventually turned into RecipesMade.com, and I'm so glad it did.
What You'll Find Here
I keep things organized around the three meals I cook most often. Breakfast recipes that give you a real reason to get out of bed in the morning. Lunch ideas that are quick to put together and actually keep you full. And dinner recipes that feel satisfying at the end of a long day without requiring two hours in the kitchen.
Nothing here is fancy. Everything here is honest. If a recipe didn't work in my kitchen, it doesn't go on the site.
My Philosophy
I don't follow any specific diet and I don't think you should have to either. What I do believe in is eating food that is as close to its natural state as possible, cooking at home more often than not, and enjoying what's on your plate without guilt or stress.
Healthy eating isn't about being perfect. It's about making slightly better choices most of the time and not beating yourself up when life gets in the way. That's the version of healthy I try to live by, and it's the version I write recipes for.
How I Create My Recipes
Every recipe on this site starts in my own kitchen. I cook it, taste it, adjust it, and cook it again until it feels right. I write the instructions the way I'd explain them to a friend standing next to me, not the way a textbook would describe them.
I also include a nutritional estimate with each recipe because I know a lot of people find that helpful. Just keep in mind those numbers are approximate and can vary based on the brands and quantities you use.
If something doesn't turn out the way you expected, send me a message. I genuinely want to know.
Get in Touch
Whether you have a question about a recipe, a suggestion for something you'd like to see on the site, or you just want to share how a dish turned out for you, I'd love to hear from you. Cooking is more fun when it's a conversation.
